Our chemical peel treatments are selected according to skin concerns and specifications. These are discussed in-depth with our clients during their VISIA consultation and a customized treatment program is prescribed.

We make use of specialised peels from varying brands, when the skin is assessed and deemed ready to receive a more targeted approach. These include medium depth to deep resurfacing chemical peel applications.

DERMALUX LED LIGHT TREATMENT

LED phototherapy is based on the principle that living cells can absorb certain light wavelengths. This treatment has long been recognised for its regenerating and anti-inflammatory properties, using red, blue and near infrared light. Skin cells that are energised function better and regenerate faster, which in turn leads to younger, healthier and more radiant skin.

The difference between the positive and negative effects of light are the amount and the parts of the light spectrum we are exposed to. Ongoing exposure to UV is very damaging, but controlled levels of red, blue and near Infrared light are clinically proven to be beneficial.

Exposing the skin to low levels of this beneficial light energy from the visible and infrared part of the light spectrum energise cellular functions to stimulate various cellular processes with therapeutic effects.

Not all LED Phototherapy systems are the same and there are many LED systems available on the market that cannot produce the required wavelengths to stimulate the desired response.

At Aesthetic Centre Olympia we make use of the Dermalux Flex which is amongst the most advanced portable LED Systems in the world.
