LIPOLYTIC INJECTIONS
A lipolytic solution (fat dissolving substance) is injected into the skin to break up resistant pockets of adipose tissue (fat). It is for smaller areas of fat, that would be too small to do liposuction on eg. a double chin or a small pocket of fat between under arm and breast.
The active ingredient called PTC or lecithin is injected in equal doses into the area of concern. The PTC is lipophilic which means it dissolves lipids and fats. The remaining deposits of the fat cells are then metabolized.
These treatments cannot be done when you are pregnant, breastfeeding or using blood thinners or have a bleeding disorder. Some chronic medical conditions are also contra-indicated. Your medical professional will discuss these with you.
If your weight remains stable you will feel your clothes loosen from the first treatment. For best results we suggest that you do at least 4 treatments. They can be performed as close as 14 days apart but the best gap is to do monthly treatments.

SCLEROTHERAPY
Sclerotherapy is a popular method of eliminating varicose veins and superficial telangiectasia (“spider veins”) on the legs during which a solution, called a sclerosing agent, is injected into the veins. Sclerotherapy treats the visible blue and bright red veins but it does not treat large veins.
Approximately 60% of the visible spider veins can be expected to disappear after the treatment. The number of treatments needed to clear or improve the condition differs from patient to patient, depending on the extent of varicose and spider veins present. Usually, patients require between 1 – 3 treatments, every few months.

PRP therapy makes use of the patient’s own blood which is drawn in a complete sterile environment and centrifuged. Blood is mainly a liquid and consists of red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets. How does it work?
During your consultation, a bespoke treatment plan will be recommended to address your needs and concerns.
The Tixel machine comprises of a small heated ceramic grid of 81 intricate pyramids located on the head of a handheld device, which is placed onto the skin in a controlled method.
The exposure time and depth of protrusion is selected according to what condition is being treated. The machine only touches the skin for a fraction of a second when the trigger is squeezed. Upon brief contact with the skin, thermal energy is transferred to the upper skin layers.
After the Tixel treatment it is advisable to avoid direct sun exposure where possible for the duration of the healing period.
Depending on what condition is being treated, the appropriate after care is provided by your therapist. For the patient to achieve the best result possible, it is advised to give up smoking as this may result in diminished effects.
Any redness of the skin subsides within 24 hours, after which micro scabs will form. These should ideally be left to slough off by themselves. Some results may be seen immediately, but improvement continues for up to 3-6 months after the treatment. What can IPL treat?

Good candidates for this procedure are people with freckled, discolored, red, blotchy or brown spots, which were previously difficult to treat. In addition, this is a very effective treatment for the redness or dilated blood vessels and the flushing of Rosacea.
How does IPL work?
The IPL treatment settings are customized for each individual client to achieve best results. A beam of light is concentrated through a specific light filter, which is selected according to what is being targeted. This light treatment will heat the red or brown pigment within the targeted area or lesion. This process is called selective Photo thermolysis and will result in the desired therapeutic effect.
What Can I Expect after an IPL treatment?
Immediately after the treatment, brown spots will start to darken and your skin may be slightly red. Within one to three weeks, the darkened spots will flake off and fade. Redness will defuse or spider veins will decrease and your mottled complexion will improve.
PLEASE TAKE NOTE: Rosacea is a chronic condition and cannot be cured, however its appearance can be improved.
